Gen X Nano launched at a starting price of Rs. 1.99 lakh; AMT version
starts at Rs. 2.69 The
launch is being seen as a make -or- break move for the car . While
the manual transmission variants will cost between Rs 1.99 lakh to
Rs 2.49 lakh ,the easy shift AMT version has been launched between
Rs. 2.69 lakh to Rs.2.89 lakh .The tata nano ,washed the mind of
customer car , comes in a record 21 different options and offer all
the bells and whistles including automatic transmission and bluetooth
connectivity, and also with openable hatch Unique with first in segment
colour coordinated themes.

EXTERIOR
In the front, chrome radiator grille and body coloured bumper with large air inlets have been equipped. Fog lamps are not available even on this trim. Rear features body coloured bumper and suave tail lamps, while sporty full wheel covers and B-Pillar black tape have been provided on the side contour, though body side molding, body coloured door handles and body coloured door mirrors are missing in the VXi AGS.
INTERIOR
Cabin
incorporated with vanity mirrors for driver/co-passenger, rear
parcel tray, piano black finish I/P centre garnish, silver accents on
the steering wheel, inside door handles, console garnish ring, panel
instrument cluster garnish, power steering, tailgate opener,
internally adjustable outside door handles, door trim armrest and
internally adjustable outside door handles. Other standard fitments
inset inside the cabin include sunvisor for driver/ co-passenger,
three-position cabin light in front, 2 floor console cup holders,
dial type climate control, air conditioner and right hand side
outside mirror. Instrument cluster gets a bunch of features like
integrated tachometer, shift up indicator, accessory socket, driver’s
seat belt warning lamp and digital clock. Keyless entry is not
available on the VXi AGS variant, however it gets audio system,
antenna, speakers (2), central door locking, front power window, key
off audible reminder and head lamp on warning buzzer.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Under
the bonnet is a K10, 998 cc gasoline engine good for zenith power of
68 PS at 6000 RPM and pinnacle torque of 90 Nm at 6000 RPM. A
conventional five-speed manual transmission is coupled to the petrol
engine.
